West Georgia Cardiology and The Rouse Foundation offer the Annual Healthy Heart Essay Contest for area high school seniors each year in January. Students write essays focusing on how to have a healthier heart. The essays are judged on ideas, style, organization and conventions. First, Second, and Third place winners are chosen and awarded a cash prize which can be used for college.
