The Rouse Foundation 21st Annual Healthy Heart Essay Scholarship for high school seniors theme was “Educating Your Mind to Love your Heart.” The 2023 winners selected by the judges are:
1st place of $500 scholarship was awarded to Haley Duncan of Carrollton High School.
2nd place of $300 scholarship was awarded to Ethan Sayles of Chapel Hill High School-Douglas County.
3rd place of $200 scholarship was awarded to Kyleigh Smith of Carrollton High School.
